1. Data Storage and Local Architecture

Derslerim is built entirely on an offline-first architecture. All data you create and manage within the application is kept exclusively on your device.

The data processed and saved through the application are as follows:

Your name and user preferences (theme, language, etc.)

Your academic calendar, course schedule, and course contents

Your attendance records and related exceptional situations

All of this data is stored in the local storage area (SQLite database) of your device. Your data is not sent, transferred, or copied to any external server, cloud environment, or us in any way.

2. Third-Party Services and Analytics Processes

The application does not host any third-party analytics tools, tracking software (trackers), or advertising SDKs to track user behavior or create profiles. All core features such as course tracking and attendance management operate entirely as a closed loop on the device without communicating with an external server.

(Note: The platform providers where the application is downloaded [Google Play Store, Apple App Store, etc.] may collect anonymous download statistics and crash reports within the framework of their own privacy policies and user agreements. These processes are independent of the local operation of the Application.)

3. Data Security, Control, and Deletion

Due to the architecture of the application, since your data is hosted solely on your own device, data security is directly related to the physical and digital security of the device you are using.

The control and disposal of all data within the application belong entirely to the user. When you uninstall the application from your device or use the "Reset Application" option in the application settings, all your saved data is permanently, irreversibly, and definitively deleted from your device.

4. Device Permissions

In order for the application to perform its core functions, there is no need to define special or critical permissions (camera, location, microphone, gallery, etc.) on your device.

5. Children's Privacy

The Derslerim application is designed with a technical infrastructure suitable for students of all ages. Since user data is not transferred to an external system and is kept entirely on the device, it is technically impossible to intentionally collect and process personal data from children or any user.

6. Changes to the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy text may be revised in case new features are added to the application, the technical infrastructure is updated, or there are changes in legal regulations. The updated text will take effect as soon as it is published on our official website, application store (Store) page, or within the application with its new effective date. Continuing to use the application after the changes are published means you accept the updated privacy policy.
