Scanly places great importance on user privacy. Our application is designed with the principle of keeping collected data to an absolute minimum while performing document scanning, QR/barcode scanning, and QR generation tasks.
Camera Permission: We need your camera permission to scan documents, QR codes, and barcodes. The camera is only activated during the scanning process, and images are never transmitted to remote servers.
Gallery Permission: When reading QR codes from saved images, Scanly only accesses the specific image you choose.
Data Storage: Your scanned documents, scan history, and generated codes are stored entirely locally on your device. Since our application does not use cloud databases, these data remain completely under your control and can be deleted from within the app at any time.
Internet Usage & Link Safety: Scanly inspects web links before opening them to notify you about potential risks. While core scanning functions operate offline, a limited amount of anonymous data may be collected for performance improvement.
Changes: This privacy policy may be updated in line with new features added to our application. Policy updates will be announced on this page.
